The Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Atlanta Area Young Professionals Network and the Citizens Journal to host the annual Professional Women's Day Reception and Expo. The event will be held from 11 a.m. - 2p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 at Horne Enterprises and everyone is invited to attend.

Destiny Maternity Home coming to Atlanta

Destiny Maternity Home, a program of First Choice Pregnancy Center will have our 2nd Annual Atlanta “Walk For Life” on Saturday, April 28th 2012 at 9:00am. Registration starts at 8:30am. There will be two locations: Historic Downtown Atlanta in front of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Spring Lake Park, Texarkana. You can pick up a Walk Sponsor Form at First Choice Center Atlanta Chamber of Commerce or register online at www.supportfirstchoiceprc.com Funds raised at this event will support the maternity home for homeless unwed mothers. Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Banquet

The Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet is on March 24, 2012 at 6 p.m. The theme will be "A Walk in the Park" and everyone is invited to attend. Special guest speaker Jeff Sanford, President and CEO of the Texarkana, USA Chamber of Commerce will address the crowd, a "State of the Chamber" update will be given by Lisa Thompson, President of the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerece and Luigi's will provide a wonderful meal.

Community Wide Yard Sale

Facebook Launches Small Business Boost Contest

Facebook quietly launched a contest Tuesday called Small Business Boost that will award $10,000 to 10 small businesses that gain the most new Likes by April 1. Small business owners in the U.S. that manage pages on the social network can enter the contest through an app on the Facebook Marketing Solutions page. This contest is in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. Read more about the contest here.
