I want to personally welcome you to the City of Atlanta website. We hope you find our site useful, whether
you’re a resident already or someone looking to relocate a home or business to Atlanta.
We’re “open for business” and looking forward to an exciting future.
There are many exciting projects happening in Atlanta right now! We’re working hard to
locate restaurants and retail shops in the historic downtown area – and there’s some
great progress in that area. You’ve no doubt seen all the new construction that continues
to occur on Loop 59.
Atlanta is a certified retirement community, and we’re working to market the city to those considering
a retirement near all the lakes and state parks. We’re so blessed to have these natural resources.
It’s a privilege to serve as your Mayor. I’m proud of this community and looking forward
to the new growth and opportunities.
