Atlanta Christmas Extravaganza
11/30/2006
Downtown Atlanta will be aglow Saturday evening with twinkling lights and floats aplenty as the annual Christmas Parade starts rolling on Main Street at 5:30. Shops will be open until 9 PM for filling every wish on Santa's list.
Follow Santa from the parade route to a special tree lighting ceremony at Regions Bank on William Street. Afterward, tell Santa what to leave under the tree and smile as elves snap a picture.
Later, at the Depot, catch a ride in a vintage carriage pulled by a stately draft horse named John and enjoy a narrated trip through Atlanta's historic streets. Listen to carolers strolling along the walkways.
Almost sounds like a wonderful life in Bedford Falls, doesn't it?
